Local Attractions

There are many things to do and see in the area. The Biggest attraction is the Great Smoky Mountains Park the most visited park in the country. Our cabin is just 5 min. form the eastern entrance to the park, and of course the park itself is the backyard of the cabin. www.nps.gov/grsm/

For free or next to free there is plenty of hiking, fishing and swimming in local rivers. There are horseback trails and horse rentals in the area. If you are here to celebrate the new year watch the ball drop in downtown Gatlinburg, enjoy the winter fest activities from November through March, the Forth of July parades and fireworks and special events throughout the year.

Take in some of the amusements in the area like Dollywood, all of the Ripley attractions like the aquarium. Spend a day at the go carts or miniature golf, there are several of these to choose from. Bent Creek Golf course is only 5 minutes away. If you like to shop all of the brand name shopping outlets are close by or visit our Craftsman's Circle for unique local crafts, most made on site to your order.

Fine dinning is available from local favorites to national chains. Of course you always have the fully equipped kitchen at the cabin.
